Giving this year's VMA nominees the once-over, there are admittedly some well deserved clips that received their proper due: anything by Lady Gaga in the past year was absolute perfection, Florence and The Machine's "Dog Days Are Over" was perfectly trippy, but I'm hoping the clip for "Kings and Queens" by 30 Seconds to Mars can pull off a surprise Video of the Year win.source
But wait, what happened to THESE amazing videos?! Some of the nominees had no place being up for anything (I'm looking at YOU, Jason Derulo and B.o.B.) while eye-popping clips were left out. Take a look at these bad boys...
"Carry Out," Timbaland featuring Justin Timberlake
Storylines aren't always required... sometimes you just need cool colors, incredible art direction, hot dancers, and Justin Timberlake. Done.
