Reddit has a TARDIS

Last night, Reddit announced reddit timeline™ on their blog. If you click on the TARDIS, it'll take you to a random time; much like the TARDIS often does.

I particularly love all the Doctor Who references everywhere. I like that Reddit chose the TARDIS as their time machine of choice. Even Reddit's blogpost was tagged "timelords" – which I guess we all are, now we can travel in (reddit) time.

A lot of people seem to hate it. I, for one, am really enjoying this. I know it's just an April Fools gag, but I kinda hope it stays. Or at least give the users an option to have it, so those who don't want them don't have to suffer.

Nerdist podcast

I've been listening to The Nerdist Podcast, mostly at work, for a couple months now and I'm really enjoying it. The comedy podcast is hosted by Chris Hardwick, with the help of Jonah Ray and Matt Mira.

I got a TARDIS!!!

Apparently, I helped John got his job. And for that he gave me a TARDIS. It's a cookie jar. The lantern can be pushed and it lights up while making the TARDIS (de)materialization noise. It also does so whenever the lid is closed.

Starbucks barista: "Oh my god, you have a TARDIS on your shirt!"
Me: "Yes I do!"

We proceeded to have a short conversation about Doctor Who and t-shirts. I ordered a cafe latte with extra shot and he said, "I'll give you the extra shot for free because you like Doctor Who." Whovians and graphic tees are awesome!

And if I remember correctly, I was at the same Starbucks (different barista, though), where I got a free upsize of my caramel macchiato for wearing a Smurfs tee.

I know I've been saying that I need to stop buying graphic tees for years now but these little things make me happy. :]

I was finally brave enough to watch David Tennant's last episode(s) on Doctor Who.

So I just thought of something...

Santa Claus is a Time Lord! Because how else would he be able to deliver all those toys in one night?! Also, the sleigh (TARDIS) has to be bigger on the inside to carry all those gifts!

This is what I think about while I'm at work...

My latest celeb crush: David Tennant

I don't know why it took me this long to finally get into Doctor Who and discover David Tennant. I'm currently halfway through season 3 (or series 3, as they're called in Britain), and I'm actually a little bit torn between wanting to not stop watching the episodes and not wanting to see David Tennant regenerate. I only have 1.5 seasons left of DT and I don't want it to ever end!

Why I'm excited this holiday season: PRESENTS!!

1. Department secret santa tomorrow at work. Would be pretty interesting to see what everyone got everyone with a limit of $15. Even though I still can't figure out what to get my giftee. But hey, still excited!
2. MY REDDIT SECRET SANTA SHIPPED TWO PACKAGES!! The first one is an order from Etsy that he/she thinks I would love. Love Etsy, and can't wait to see what it is! The second one was shipped late last night and SS didn't say anything about it but TWO SHIPMENTS!! Since I got my first message from SS, I get so excited walking in to my apartment building, in the hope of a random, mysterious package. :] So for the next week, I will anxiously wait for the package notification on my mailbox.
3.  Kim called me last night, talked about our plans for January, and told me that she found "the perfect gift" for me. And she added that it's "quite nerdy" and she hoped I'd use it. You have no idea how excited I am for this. Also excited to see her again in a couple weeks. ;)
4. Doctor Who marathons. Because David Tennant. Yeah. Not really a present. But still.
