Pirates of the Caribbean : At World's End

Finally, I get to watch the last of the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy today. I've been waiting for this movie since I finished watching the 2nd movie. At World's End is telling about how they try to get Jack Sparrow back from the death.

And there's also the 9 pieces of 8 or something. Doesn't make sense, but nothing is. So there are these 9 lead captains if I can call it that. And there was Calypso, like a very powerful goddess maybe. She's the lover of Davy Jones.

The East India Company has Davy Jones' heart so The Flying Dutchman and the crew was on their side.

So the only way to kill Davy Jones was to stab his heart. And by doing this, the heart will have to be replaced by the one who stabbed it. Because the ship has to have a captain. The captain of course will be immortal. But he can only come ashore a day every 10 years.

It's a very good movie IMO. Hoping for a fourth comes someday. There's still possibility cos the producers and some of the casts still want to go on with this movie. It's a huge hit, why should it stop on 3???

Currently waiting to watch Shrek the Third, Ocean's Thirteen, and Fantastic Four.

I know today is a Saturday and I shouldn't be at home. But I didn't feel like going out. My parents asked me twice but I said no. Now they're going to Moti's graduation of his course...

I have no idea why I don't want to go out because clearly there's nothing to do actually at home. Especially when I'm left alone, I only have my MacBook with me...

I'm so damn bored so I started watching 24. [well I started a couple of weeks ago so I'm actually continuing to watch it] Started watching disc 3, and I was just trying to remember what I watched before. I couldn't remember much but I can go on with the story quite well. So this is a film that's so freaking slow! Like everything could happen in 10 minutes!!!

I fast forward most of it though, so it's like I finish the whole disc (4 episodes) in less than 2 hours. Don't want to fall asleep... But still I want to know how the story goes.

And do you know how many people are killed because of one incident in a day?! In Los Angeles!! Well what I've watched now is like 12 hours only and there are so many people killed, by gunshots most of the times. I know this is just a fake but I'm pretty scared of going to my dream place at the moment. And it's only half a day!

I just couldn't continue watching at the moment so I stopped to post this. Dunno maybe I'll just get out of my room for a while, staying in here all day long wouldn't be so good for my health right? =P

On this day..

Hm... Harusnya hari ini ikut mama ke dokter muka, perawatan. Dah lama banget ga dateng. Tapi sama aja, aku g perna ngelakuin yg disuruh sama dokternya. G tlaten gitu!!! Lagian mama brangkatnya jam 10, Daphne g bisa bangun donk!!!

Y udah akire g ikut. Mama pergi, Didi dah kerja, Moti lagi skul. Sendirian di rumah... Pertama bingung mo ngapain, jadi abis mandi, makan, baca koran, balek kamar sambil berpikir mo ngapain. Liat2 novel2 yang blom tabaca, sapa tau tertarik, tapi lagi ga mood baca. Akhirnya maen NDS. Heheh... Maen apa itu dari kmaren tamainin teroz... G lama, skitar 1jam gitu dah tamat.

Dapet SMS dari Rena, ngajak pergi. Akhirnya! Something to do. Emang waktu itu sambil main NDS. Skalian nunggu kabar mo dijemput kapan. Stelah agak lama, Rena SMS lagi bilang suruh siap2. Y udah, aku maen dulu lagi, trus mulai ganti baju... Ternyata waktu lagi maunya ke kamar mandi bwat ganti baju, mama dah pulang. Ya udah skalian ijin mo pegi...

Abis ganti, balik kamar n nglakuin final touches. [halah!] Nglanjutin game NDS sampe Ochip dateng. Langsung tamatiin tanpa save. wew...

Ke PTC, liat bioskop antri panjang (malez) g jadi nonton Pirates... Akhire beli DVD, makan, n gtau mo ngapain lagi. Jadi ke rumahe Gaby (juaooooo) nganggur2. Maen kartu bentar, ngobrol2, trus mo pulang.

Nganterin Rena pulang (1jam!!!) sambil ngomongin ke Bali (final decision 30 May - 5 June, plane Rp. 550,000). Udah, gitu aja... Abis gitu pulang...

Bener2 g ada apa2nya sih hari ini, seperti biasa. Tapi paling gak masih ktemu sama temen2... wew...

The New American Idol

She's 17!!! She's my age and look at what she has done. She's talented with a great voice and used it well....

Yes, Jordin Sparks is the winner of the 6th American Idol! [congratulations! ^^, ]

The result show was as usual amazing. Huge crowd, huge stars, and of course previous idols. The top 12 singing together, joined by previous Idols, Ruben, Kelly, Carrie, and Taylor.

But yeah, the result was kinda predicted before... Dunno, it just seems like she has the more fans. Blake wasn't bad, but 2nd place is definitely enough for him!

Can't wait for their next moves.

So the 6th season of American Idol has ended. Perhaps another birth of stars.

American Idol Finale

Today was the performance finale. Blake vs Jordin. I have the mixed feelings, excited and sad, at the same time. Excited about the show, and sad that it's ending. [it's actually playing again right now]

Each contestant got to perform 3 times. One song they have performed in the show, one choice of song they haven't perform, and the last was the winner of the songwriting competition.

Blake went first, singing "You Give Love A Bad Name". I know why he chose that song. When he performed it a few weeks ago, it was simply a blast! Greatest performance in the show's history IMO. Loved it!!! But this time, maybe because I've seen it before, wasn't as entertaining as it was. But still it was a good performance. The judges loved it I guess...

Jordin replied with Christina Aguilera's "Fighter". I thought she was taking too much risk, since Aguilera has this powerful voice. But she did it her own way and she has an amazing voice. She did a really good job there... Vocally, she was better than Blake, but Blake's performance was the more entertainment.

Round one goes to Blake IMO...

Second round started with Blake singing Maroon 5's "She Will Be Loved". Maybe he picked that song because he did really well the previous week with the band's other song, "This Love". He did look comfortable on that genre. But I still think his performance the previous week was better. Vocally he was pretty good, but I even like his first performance better. Simon put it as the song he shouldn't choose for the final!

Jordin went with "Broken Wings". She was really good performing that song before, but it wasn't my favorite. Maybe she was good vocally but not much as the entertainment. Dunno...

Round two is a tie IMO...

The third song is the songwriting competition winner. It's a great song, but definitely not Blake's type! He went first and he was, on his standard, horrible! I think he wanted to jump up and down in the middle of the song but he just wasn't allowed to do that. It was more like a mellow kind of song.

Jordin took the stage. And it was simply brilliant!!! The song suited her well, way better than it did Blake. She was amazing, with that awesome voice!!! By this third and final performance of the night I think she swept it away. Vocally, Blake was no competition there.

Round three goes to Jordin, clearly!

Tomorrow's result show will be huge and I just can't wait to see who show up!!! Gonna be great!!!

As usual I had nothing to do today. Except that I have a plan to cook with my mother. XP

We did the shopping for the ingredients yesterday. Though we didn't really understand the step-by-step things, we did it anyway...

Woke up around 10 today. Put in my contact lenses, washed my face, and brushed my teeth. Then I went downstairs to eat some bread and read the newspaper... After an hour or so I went back upstairs to take a shower. I went out of the bathroom and found my mom watching TV, while eating a hotdog!!! She said I can make one myself...

I was pretty hungry so I went downstairs right away. Cut the bread in the middle, put it in the oven, and waited. Well in short I made the hotdog and ate it right away.

When I finished I went back to my mom's room, and helped her a little, and went back downstairs to start the cooking. We prepared the things on the table. Boiled some water and put the pasta in...

I have no idea what I'm writing anymore so I'd jump to conclusion right away : I made Spaghetti something creamy lemon something. It tasted pretty good, but a little weird. When I read the name I thought it was gonna taste like lemon, but in fact it tasted like the smell of lemon! (does it make any sense?)

After that I left to pick up my father in the airport. He brought me this thing for my MacBook's keyboard so it won't get dirty. Dunno what it's called... [it's weird though using it for the first time...] And he also bought me the novel Eragon.. :D

Bali... >_____<

Dulu waktu mendekati liburan, bener2 g sabar pingin cepet libur. Abis skolah waktu bulan2 trakir tuh g enak pol! Dah banyak tugas, ulangan2, EBTA Praktek palagi!!! UNAS sih gampang2 ae. (bukan gampang sih, tapi masih bisa dikerjakan tanpa menyusahkan) tapi abis gitu, dah krasa g skolah! Dah kepikiran mo libur. Padahal itu mau nya ujian skolah plus EBTA praktek sisae..

Pada masa2 itulah Daphne dan teman2 mulai membicarakan tentang Bali. Klo lagi pingin ngomong, smua diomongin. Dari tanggal brangkat n pulang, naik apa, tidur di mana, sampe mo ngapain aja di sana diomongin smua. Tapi yah, biasa gitu... smakin banyak yg diomongin, smakin sdikit kesimpulan yang bisa ditarik....

Rencana awal, tanggal 7-11 Juni. Ada yang mau naik pesawat, ada yang naik mobil. Tidur di hotel yang lagi dicari... Trus setelah beberapa waktu, ganti lagi... Diputuskan tidur di rumahe Ochip untuk memotong pengeluaran.

Sampe liburan masih blom ada keputusan trakir e. Tanggal diganti2, tgl 27 Mei, 2 Juni, 30 Juni, disebut smua... Akirnya keputusan trakir tanggal 31 Mei brangkat, tapi naik pesawat smua karena ternyata bisa dapet tiket murah ke Bali. Trus... Dapet tawaran villa slama seminggu. Sempat dipertimbangkan, tapi rasae sih rumah lebih gampang. Jadi... Blom ada keterangan lebih lanjut sih jadine mo gimana... Pokoknya ya gitu dulu lah!!! >_____<

Becks and Ruudtje

So I watched Real Madrid play last night. Waiting till 00.00 was really boring and I was pretty sleepy which of course didn't help. And I went down 5 minutes before the time, cos I don't know on which channel is the match. I surfed through the channels, all 60++ of them! And at the end, I couldn't find it. I thought that I had to change it to local TV but I was too lazy to find the cable. I was hungry so I decided to look for something to eat. And then I thought... Well I was waiting for this match since like more than 2 hours ago! Now I just forget about it? No way! And since this would be the last few matches (maybe) that I would see the 2 former Manchester United stars playing together, I searched for the cable. It wasn't hard to find, actually. But installing it and the channels were the harder things to do.

I tried to figure out which buttons to push on the remote control and it took some time cos the writings and symbols were erased already. Then when the TV is searching for the available channels I grabbed some food and drink. When I actually found the channel it was already in the 16th minute. And Real Madrid was 1-0 up. They were controlling the match, creating lots and lots of chances, but couldn't find the goal. Glad to see that David Beckham was an important role in the team. His long balls were great as I used to watch him. He was the main player in Real Madrid's attack, IMO.

First half ended 1-0 though they were dominating the whole match and should have gotten more goals.

The 2nd half, Recreativo (their opponent) stepped up and tried their best to break Real Madrid's defense. Only the first few minutes were they able to do that cos after that Real Madrid dominated the match again, like the first half. Robinho was fouled by the goalkeeper, that was a clear foul, in the penalty area. Real Madrid got the penalty and the goalkeeper was booked. Ruud van Nistelrooy stepped up to take the spot kick. His placement decision wasn't that hard IMO, cos the goalkeeper was a little bit to his right, where Ruud usually place his penalty kick. And by the goalkeeper's movement we can determine that he was going to dive to his right. Ruud chose the safe way, pushing it to the left of the goalkeeper. Ruud does it better to the other part of the goal but he's doing it safe... 2-0 up now Real Madrid. They were still attacking, but not as much as before. Maybe they feel secure now. (at some point of the match possession was 40% Recreativo and 60% Real Madrid!)

Only about 15 or 17 minutes before the match ended, Recreativo got a break. A player went down inside the box and the referee pointed to the spot. Casillas did so well trying to save the spot kick. He dived to the right direction, and actually got a touch of the ball. But it wasn't enough to keep it from his goal.

By that time I was more interested in the novel I was holding (Pride and Prejudice) so I stopped watching the match. Less than 10 minutes to go and they were still 2-1 up. It was 1.30 a.m. so I went back to my room and read for a while before going to sleep. Was really surprised to see on livescore that the match ended up with the scoreline of 3-2 to Real Madrid! The last 2 goals were in the last 5 minutes of the match, with Recreativo pulling level in the 86th minute, but Roberto Carlos put his team ahead again in the final minute of the match.

Real Madrid stayed 1st in the La Liga standings, only by head to head of Barcelona and 2 points ahead of Sevilla. A few more matches to go to complete their amazing come back of the season!

[first and last trophy for David Beckham =D, Ruud van Nistelrooy with 22 or 23 goals already to become the top scorer in his first year there. Even the players who got the ax from Manchester United are still good...]

FA Cup Final

Heart breaking, that's for sure! Well to be honest the first 90 minutes was pretty even. Both teams had their fair chances. But the fact that when it got to Extra Time, Manchester United was the team controlling the game, and couldn't find a break, Chelsea was the luckier team to actually find a goal. Totally unfair!!! Even just typing about this gives me pain. [dunno how but reading Pride & Prejudice actually helped me feel better]

And about Giggs' incident. So he was fouled, and made him drag the goalkeeper cross the line with the ball. So it was either a penalty, or the goal allowed. COS IT CROSSED THE FREAKING LINE!!! But the ref was mesmerized by Jose's handshake in the tunnel maybe... He waved Giggs away and look what it cost us! Sh*t!!!

It's the new Wembley!! It'd be in the history books!!! Will be remembered forever!!! With the season like what Manchester United had, it's so unfair that we got only one trophy, though it is very precious, the Premier League. And I believe the players are very glad to receive the winner's medal. But we should have gotten the FA Cup too!!! Unfair!!!

And the season comes to a close. The closing of this season hasn't been the best IMO, losing against West Ham before our title celebration, and the incident last night. [Hurts me even more that THAT GUY was the one who scored!!!]

Can't wait for next season... Hopefully another wonderful season like this one, but with even more trophies to celebrate with. =D

Sumpek!!!

Clearly I don't know what to do! So I'm gonna ask anyone. How do you stop someone from calling you?! So there's this guy. He was a classmate like 2 years ago. And we weren't exactly that close. Then he became friends with one of my best friends. The whole gang started hanging out and he was hitting on me. I was just being nice to a friend and I guess he understood that. He started to back off for a while.

Like a year or maybe more later, he's back. And now he doesn't stop!!! He calls like every half an hour, even after I told him I'm busy. I tried to avoid him. Not returning his messages, rarely answering his calls, etc. I also refused to go out with him. Dunno, he seems to not get it. I don't know what else to do and I can't be very frank to someone and... well I just don't know!!!

Nothing to do

well... haven't been here for some time. Just as I thought, I won't be able to do these things regularly. Like a diary I used to keep when I was in 5th grade or so, only there for 2 weeks. Luckily I have nothing to do at the moment and I remembered I have this, which nobody would actually read. =p

High school's over and I clearly have nothing to do. I thought the 3 months ++ break would be fun and all but now I know that it sucks! School wasn't so bad after all. Well I liked school, just that I didn't know not going to school would be this bad. It's just the first week of the long, long holiday and I'm bored.

[just found out something I could do with my MacBook I didn't know I could, how stupid!!!]

Err... I'm supposed to be going out with my mother and brother but she's still stuck on the chair in front of the TV and he's with a friend downstairs. Leaving me alone with my MacBook, so I have the time to learn more about this thing... This should be fun! >___________<

I hated the farewell camp from my school and I don't think the (buku kenangan) would be any good. I've been having fun in all 3 years of school and I might not have anything to remember it by, except my friends of course.
