Here's what I have to say...

So Cristiano Ronaldo is undoubtedly the world's best player at the moment. And I'm very, very happy that he is (at least currently) a Manchester United player. [if he's not I won't say he's the best] But he clearly stated that he wants to play for Real Madrid, and they also said they wanted him. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE CR7 so much and he's an amazing player who will always be missed if he's not in the starting XI. But I personally think that Manchester United is too good of a club to pay around £120,000 per week for someone who doesn't even want to be here!

And one more thing, if he does leave, I really wish United and Madrid would face each other in the Champions League, preferably in the final, with us defending our title, of course. That would show him what an idiotic decision he's made..

Congrats Ellen DeGeneres!

Just read that she won a Daytime Emmy awards for Best Talk Show Host. Although the Best Talk Show award that she had won for 4 years in a row is now Rachael Ray's. But of course, Ellen is definitely the best host EVER! lol

Anyways, F1 France GP is starting soon and both Ferraris are on the front row. Kimi 1 and Massa 2. Come on guys!!

End of the road for Portugal :'(

Terrible, terrible defending has ended Portugal's hope for their first ever major trophy in international competitions. They played fairly well. But a couple of slip-ups in their markings of set-piece situations has led Germany to win 3-2 in the first quarter-final game of Euro 2008. With a team like them, I expected way much more than what they showed. Germany's 2nd and 3rd goals were pure bad defending. Free headers from similar set pieces.

With Portugal out, that means there's only 1 United man left in the competition, Edwin van der Sar. The Holland captain should be able to lead his team to glory. They're top of Group C with 9 points and 9 goals out of 3 games.

Anyways, Portugal's out that means Cristiano Ronaldo is now free to talk about his future. Please just don't do anything stupid!

Manchester United news

Only 4 United players are in Euro 2008 and 1 of them is already out. Patrice Evra is very unlucky to have been a French (LOL, no offense). Being in the group of hell they were knocked out after losing to Italy last night. The Netherlands and Italy are the ones to go through the group stages. Of course, Edwin van der Sar is in charge of the goal for the Dutch. Portugal has 2 of our wingers (hopefully we'll still have 2 Portuguese stars next season). Ronaldo, wearing the number 7 for his country after the retirement of Figo, and Nani who is a regular sub.

Speaking of Ronaldo, lately there have been a lot of talks of him leaving. If after the season ends I was more sure that he would be staying, now it's really down to hope that he won't leave. With Scolari managing Chelsea next season, obviously he'll be trying to get Ronnie to sign for Real Madrid. Come on Ron! United is the best club for you..

Congrats to Boston Celtics

I guess they do earn it. Beating the Lakers by 37 points in game 6, making it 4-2 on the series for the win. They made the Lakers fail to have their greatest comeback (24 points in under 8 minutes) in game 2. Made one of the greatest comebacks in game 4. And they did play well in general. So.. congrats!!

Forbes.com Celebrity 100

Forbes released their annual list of celebrity rankings and once again Oprah Winfrey tops the list, and Tiger Woods came in 2nd. My man Justin Timberlake is at number 12 :) *yay for JT!!* David Beckham is fifth, and I think moving to LA is a big part of him getting that high on the list. Angelina Jolie is 3rd, while Brad Pitt is 10th. The other couple on the top 10, Beyonce at number 4, and Jay-Z is at 7. David Letterman is at 15, beating his rival Jay Leno (32). Madonna is at 21, followed by Simon Cowell and Roger Federer. Kimi Raikkonen is at 36 (behind Miley Cyrus of all people!!) while Fernando Alonso is at 43. The Spice Girls is at 50..(wonder how high *NSYNC would rank if they do a reunion...) Ryan Seacrest comes in 62, Ellen DeGeneres at 71.

some sports news...

Nadal defeated Federer in 3 straight sets, with the last set won 6-0 by Nadal... Pretty embarassing for the world #1 I suppose..

LA Lakers lost Game 2 of NBA Finals which means Boston leads 2-0 on the series. Next we're going to the Staples Center and hopefully the Lakers can turn things around. I only watched about half of the 4th quarter and it was really good! Lakers were down 24 points with about 7 minutes to go. They refused to give up and with 30+ seconds to go the gap was down to 2. Unlucky they couldn't keep their momentum going and the game ended up 108-102 to the Celtics... Come on Lakers!

Lewis Hamilton crashed into Kimi Raikkonen WHO WAS DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WAITING FOR THE LIGHT!! WTF?! Kimi could have won it cos he beat Hamilton from the pit stop, but he just crashed into the Ferrari. Man even I could do better than that!

Finally, it's halftime and Romania and France are tied at 0-0. According to the commentators France haven't really been playing well cos their attacks are too obvious. Don't really care cos I'm gonna be watching the way more important match, Netherlands vs Italy later tonight.

So Euro 2008 is starting tonight, might be able to watch it, if I'm not too tired. But Portugal's match is starting at 1.45am, don't think I'd be watching that one.. I really, really hope Ronnie plays well and... not leave United... LOL yeah, that's all that matters... don't ever leave United unless the gaffer told you to!!! Don't be an idiot!!


Justin played in The Gold Digest US Open Challenge on a course used by pros. Out of the 4 'amateurs' that played he came in second with 98. Tony Romo of Dallas Cowboys was the best of the day with 86 (I think, well around that). They were the only ones to break 100.. Justin was looking quite good, love his orange belt.. =D
