Gurl.com interviews The Social Network

Why I love: they're so swooning over Justin! So here's Justin's parts:
It's been two days and we're still on a high from interviewing the dudes from The Social Network. Maybe it's because we were so nervous to interview JT and his hot co-stars Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield and Armie Hammer that we still can't really believe we survived the whole ordeal without fainting, but our survival through the depths of hunk-dom can probably be owed to our realization that these famous dudes are actually, shockingly, geeky. Just like us gURLs.

Don't believe us? Just wait until you hear how Jesse geeked out to play Facebook's creator, Mark Zuckerberg, what Andrew did to try to impress a gURL, and why Justin thinks "geek is the new cool."

History of Rap

This is hilarious! I love the fact that Justin mentioned *NSYNC and that he sang. LOVE JT + JF!

First 'rotten' review for The Social Network!

The Social Network was one of the rare movies that had perfect score (100% fresh critics) until its 'Certified Fresh' (40 Critic Reviews) status. It finally got it's first 'rotten' review, though, from this guy called Armond White. Rotten Tomatoes frequenters aren't surprised, since this guy only gives critics to incite talks like this.

He rates Resident Evil: Afterlife to be better than Inception and Avatar "on every level," gives 'rotten' reviews to Inception, Toy Story 3, Iron Man 2, Up in the Air, Sherlock Holmes, Avatar and many more brilliant movies, dissed Denzel Washington and praised Miley Cyrus. I guess what I'm saying is, I'm actually glad he gave a 'rotten' review to TSN!

Unscripted: The Social Network

Could have been longer, could have been funnier. But I love Unscripted!

Dexter on YouTube!

Did NOT know this, but apparently Showtime posted an edited version of Dexter on their official channel. At least the season premier is up!

Probably edited the stuff to make it from R rated to TV-14

USA Network Renews 'Royal Pains,' 'Psych', And 'White Collar'

After another successful summer of original scripted programming, USA Network has made more renewals: sophomore series Royal Pains and White Collar for a third season and veteran Psych for a sixth season. The Royal Pains' order is said to be for 18 episodes, while I hear Psych and White Collar are being picked up for 16 episodes each. The decision was made while the 3 series are still in production on their current seasons (White Collar wraps this week, while Royal Pains and Psych are filming their last couple of episodes) to give producers the opportunity to lock in key crew members. With the pickups, which follow similar renewals for Burn Notice and In Plain Sight (both picked up for 2 more seasons) and freshman Covert Affairs as well as a miraculous final season eight-episode pickup for Law & Order: Criminal Intent with original star Vincent D'Onofrio on board, the top basic cable network is bringing back its entire 7-series slate. "To have such success with our existing series gives us a platform to experiment and push the envelope with our next generation of shows," said USA's president of original programming Jeff Wachtel.

Royal Pains, from Universal Cable Prods., was cable's top summer cable series in adults 25-54 (3.5 million). The Fox TV Studios-produced White Collar averaged 5.5 million total viewers, while UCP's Psych was the top cable series on Wednesday in adults 18-49 (2.3 million). In a report released today, USA was listed as the most valuable asset of NBC Universal at $11.7 billion, while the value of broadcast sibling NBC was listed as a negative $600 million.

Saturday Night Live!

It was the season premier of SNL last night, hosted by Amy Poehler with musical guest Katy Perry. What I didn't know was that Tina Fey, Jimmy Fallon and JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE popped up in some of the sketches!!

Here's Justin's appearance:

He was super cute at the end there with Fallon and Andy Samberg!

Season 7 poster I missed

and it's pretty damn cool! :D

Stephen Fry is Mycroft!! :D

I have to say, this is awesome casting. Directed by Guy Ritchie and lead by Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law, adding the genius of Stephen Fry makes Sherlock Holmes 2 the movie with the amazing ensemble. Fry will be playing Mycroft, Sherlock's older brother.

Here's the announcement by Fry himself:
I’m playing Mycroft in the sequel to the Sherlock Holmes film Guy Ritchie directed with Robert Downey Jr., and that sort of part is fun, but just once in a while to play a genuine all round sort of lead figure with complexity and tragedy and wit and all the sort of things that Oscar [Wilde] had was a once in a lifetime thrill.
Mycroft Holmes is said to possess deductive powers exceeding even those of Sherlock. However, he does not care enough to do all the physical stuff in confronting the criminals, therefore he's not as effective a detective as the younger Holmes. Sherlock would come to Mycroft when he's unable to find the answers.

And I have to agree with my Twitter friends, WE WANT HUGH LAURIE AS MORIARTY!!

Hargo on the right track!!

Hargreaves surprises Sir Alex

Owen Hargreaves is back in training and close to giving Sir Alex Ferguson a selection problem.

The boss said in an MUTV exclusive interview: "Owen has come back training, he trained yesterday with the first team. He looked very good. I was surprised actually how good he was looking. It's an extra string to our bow.

"After being out for so long, we'll have to monitor him and see how he progresses in the next few weeks. But it's good to see him back. Because he's been out for so long you have to see whether there's going to be a relapse. That's the first thing on our mind. But having watched him in training, if he continues that way he's going to give me a selection problem."

Michael Carrick is also back on the training field. "Michael started training last week," says Sir Alex. "He had an injection on his Achilles to settle it down. It was nothing serious, just one of those niggling little problems you can get, particularly at the start of the season when grounds are firm. He's fine, he's started training."
I really hope this will be his return and that his injury problems are behind him. He's a great player, definitely helped us to win the Champions League back in 2008. Competition in the midfield is never a bad thing!

W Photoshoot (2007)

Looking so hot and his house seems cool! I think he moved tho, after all that Iron Man money. Bet it looks even cooler now.

ET's TSN Exclusive

Manchester United 3-2 Liverpool

All I have to say is, THANK YOU DIMITAR BERBATOV! This can definitely be your season (and Scholes')!
Dimitar Berbatov’s first hat-trick for United settled a pulsating clash as both the striker and the fixture lived up to Sir Alex Ferguson’s pre-match billing.

A stooping header in the first half, then a beautiful bicycle kick and a towering header in the second, earned the Bulgarian a standing ovation from the Old Trafford faithful and his team all three, priceless points. But the headlines would have been dramatically different had Dimitar not headed John O’Shea’s 84th-minute cross triumphantly past Pepe Reina - Liverpool had dragged themselves from 0-2 down to 2-2 with Steven Gerrard scoring from a penalty and a free-kick in a frenetic six-minute spell.

Fall TV is officially here!

And it started with House!

Okay, it wasn't as epic as the season 6 opener, but I wasn't expecting it to be since nothing would. But it was still great. House was being serious and it was strange to see, especially when he said "I love you" to Cuddy at the end (!). I was so shocked hearing Chase asking Thirteen if she'd have sex with him! Just like that. At a patient's house. But then she just left, and no one knows where, and won't be back for a while :( I'm definitely gonna miss her! It was quite strange seeing the new team because I've been watching the first 3 seasons with the old team.

Preview for episode 2:

Next ones up: Cougar Town on Wednesday, then Thursday is comedy night, with The Big Bang Theory on CBS at the same time as NBC's Community, guest starring Betty White, followed by 30 Rock, where Matt Damon is returning! Gonna be awesome!!

Dimi's touch of genius

Sir Alex always backs him up saying "he's got the genius touch in him." I wasn't a fan before he came to United, thought he was lazy, like many people think now after he moved. However, Sir Alex seemed like he really wanted Dimi on the team so I supported him. Started to like him after watching him play a couple times, especially with those amazing touches and skills. People think he's lazy, I just think that's his style of play. So he's not a Rooney; not every player should be!

Anyways, I'm gonna do a match report or something later, but I can't wait to post this:

He basically saved the game for us! Again, for the how many times in this early season, we took the game and gave it away. Spirit was gone and everyone was frustrated, and he stepped up. Thank you, Dimi!

And here's a nice article about Berba:

5 Best TV Shows You’re Not Watching

We all know the story of Mad Men and 30 Rock. They were little-watched shows that, after becoming Emmy darlings, performed slightly better in the ratings. Ratings are a tricky thing, and very rarely reflect the actual quality of a television series (American Idol, anyone?). After the jump are five underrated shows that you should consider giving a shot in between trips to Bobst and trying to stalk the Sprouse twins.
Cougar Town (ABC) Wednesdays at 9:30 PM
Don’t let the name mislead you. What was originally conceived as a series about aging women and their dangly bits pretty quickly turned into an offbeat comedy about a bunch of alcoholic friends living in a cul-de-sac. In short, it got awesome. It takes a little time to get used to the cadence of the jokes, and to kind of find characters hilarious, but if you stick with it for a few episodes, you’ll find yourself appreciating wine a whole lot more.
And one of the great things about this show is that it actually has straight male appeal. Well, at the very least, NYU straight male appeal. Trust me.
White Collar (USA) Tuesdays at 9:00 PM; returns January 2011
Starring the delicious Matt Bomer as Neal Caffrey, a conman who goes to work for the FBI, White Collar is another procedural that manages to keep things fresh. It’s an offbeat buddy comedy meets intellectual conspiracy movie meets Get Smart. Not only is it hilarious, but it’s set in Manhattan and takes full advantage of it. It’s highly stylized in a way that’s not typical of the genre. And I challenge anyone not to be won over by Matt Bomer’s debonair lead.
The rest of the list is here.

Barclay's Player of the Month: Paul Scholes

Scholes is Barclays Player of the Month

Paul Scholes is the Barclays Player of the Month for August after he helped Manchester United remain unbeaten.

The former England playmaker gave a midfield master class in Manchester United's opening match of the season, setting up goals for Dimitar Berbatov and Ryan Giggs in the 3-0 win over Newcastle United at Old Trafford.

Scholes continued his great form with a trademark drive from the edge of the area to give the Red Devils an early lead in the 2-2 draw at Fulham - his 150th goal for the club.

He ended the month by playing a key role in the 3-0 home win over West Ham United to help United finish the month in third place in the Barclays Premier League table.

The evergreen midfielder has now received the award four times in his glittering career and is only one behind Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard in the all-time list. He is tied on four awards with Alan Shearer, Cristiano Ronaldo, Frank Lampard, Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp.

The decision was made by the Barclays Awards Panel that includes representatives from football's governing bodies, the media and fans.

Hilarious AXE commercial

Official Trailer: The Adjustment Bureau

Not sure about the concept, but it's Matt Damon and Emily Blunt, and John Slattery! Will definitely watch it!

Oh, and Matt Damon is confirmed to be back for the season premier of 30 Rock, reprising his role as Pilot Carol, the guy Liz Lemon thinks as the man of her dreams. Can't wait, I love his role!!

Scholes is August's star

Just as Paul Scholes was a step ahead of his opponents last month, United's no.18 was peerless in the voting for ManUtd.com's August Player of the Month award - notching 5,000 of 8,000 votes, a 62 per cent landslide.

Another death :(

First, there was the 13 year old kid, now a 19 year old.

Japanese rider Tomizawa dies in San Marino Moto2 GP

MISANO, Italy — Japanese rider Shoya Tomizawa died from injuries sustained in a crash in the San Marino Moto2 Grand Prix on Sunday.

The 19-year-old Technomag-CIP rider came off his Suter bike when under pressure from the fast charging Italian Alex de Angelis.

Neither de Angelis nor British rider Scott Redding were able to avoid hitting Tomizawa, who was propelled over 40 metres and off the track into the gravel.

so.stupid!

So there's this article on Robinho saying why he left Manchester City (because he can't adapt to the life in Manchester). But then, there's this:
Robinho also said that he found the climate in the English city unbearable and was disappointed that City failed to become real title contenders during his stay.

"When I arrived, the directors at City told me that, in a couple of years, we would overtake United, but the time has passed and nothing has changed," he said.

The whole article just shows Robinho's stupidity and immaturity. Good thing he flopped at City, he's overrated, unbelievable arrogant and immature. He knew going in that he's gonna be living in Manchester, England, and obviously the weather of the place isn't a big secret to people outside. He was just blinded but the amount of money thrown at his face.

10 Biggest Hits—and Misses!—of Movie Summer

Eclipse, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Toy Story, SALT, Angelina Jolie, Jason Bateman. Jennifer Aniston, The Switch Kimberley French/Summit Entertainment; Disney/Pixar; Columbia Pictures; Miramax

The summer box office might as well have been titled Inception. That's how hard it was to figure out. Ticket prices were sky high, but ticket sales were slightly off. Tom Cruise bombed, and then he didn't. And so on and so odd.

It's time to try to sort things out:

What would you do: teen golfer disqualifies self, gives up medal
By Jay Busbee

Golf is a game of rules both obvious and arcane, and if you're going to play the game, you have to play by its rules. No matter what the cost.

Today, a classic "what would you do?" moment. Zach Nash is a 14-year-old Wisconsin kid who happens to be a fine golfer. So good, in fact, that he won a junior Wisconsin PGA tournament.

Problem was, he won it by violating -- albeit unintentionally -- one of golf's most straightforward rules. He had too many clubs in his bag. And the worst part? It was a total accident, discovered long after the fact.

Now What?

Fitting title, for the House season 7 premiere! "Now what?" is exactly the question everyone should ask right, now that we get Huddy.

I do have the feeling that season 7 is gonna be the last season of House. Unfortunately that might mean that Hugh Laurie never wins an Emmy despite his perfect portrayal of the character
