Thanks to Facebook, . . .

... we can like Robert Downey Jr.'s dick. Literally.
And you can tell your friends to like it, too.

I have to say I approve of this. Unfortunately, clicking that tiny button might cause problems since a lot of my family members are on my friends list. LOL

I miss my United!

I've just realized that I haven't followed on any Manchester United news since the season ended! I was going to watch a movie and decided to go through a few of the TV channels, and ESPN (or what used to be ESPN here, I think it's now GoalTV 1) is showing a replay of last season's United vs Arsenal game. So I went on ManUtd.com to see what's going on with my team.

What I want on Iron Man 3

[yes, I just said that I would step back from my RDJ obsession and maybe go back to JT, but I just need to say this]

My idea for Iron Man 3 is that we fast-forward a couple months/years (not unlike from the first to the second). Tony and Pepper had broken up and Pepper is currently either dating or married to Happy. This had sent Tony deeper down into his alcoholism, therefore "Demon in a Bottle"-like story! I know Iron Man isn't supposed to be dark like other superhero movies but for some reason I really want to see drunk Downey (or Stark for that matter).

A lot of people want to see The Mandarin as the villain but I don't really care. The Iron Man movies are all about Tony Stark/RDJ and the villains are secondary. I know it's still a superhero movie and it's somewhat necessary to have an interesting villain, but I watch Iron Man just to see the amazing Downey and his perfect performance as Tony Stark.

And...going back to JT...

Going back to JT!!

I feel like I've been cheating on Justin with RDJ! So I decided to cool down on my RDJ obsession (after watching Iron Man 2 for the second time), which is quite hard to do, and go back to my first love. There are some interesting news on J:

The Social Network Oscar predictions.
I usually hate it when they do this, predicting what awards a movie is going to win before it's even seen. Not a lot of people have watched the movie, only those in the insides, and I don't even think the movie is finished yet. But there are nice things said about Mr. Timberlake and I am quite happy with that. The movie is directed by David Fincher, and written by Aaron Sorkin. I love a couple of the works of these guys and they are VERY talented people. No doubt it's gonna be a great movie and hopefully gives Timberlake the recognition and respect as an actor as he deserves.

It's hard to let go of fast Internet

Even though it's only for the next 3 month! My flight is in less than 8 hours but since it's an international flight and it's from JFK, we're leaving in a couple hours. I'm definitely gonna miss my freedom here, and the fast Internet connection (and how many stuff I can illegally download). But I'll be home, to my family and friends.

Had a terrible dream last night though, that my flight from JFK to Frankfurt is fine, but from Frankfurt to SIN was canceled because of the volcano thing. I don't think it will happen but Tante Philia told me yesterday that my flight might be delayed because the volcano is acting up again. I checked flight status online and it says it's no problem. (damn my English sucks!)

Anyways... For some reason this time something feels wrong. Maybe I hurried it. Should have stayed another week! But then it will be Darren's party thing and they'd be even busier. Or maybe I should have waited for Kim? Oh well, it's too late to change now. I just gotta go!

My first summer job ever!

I will be developing an iPhone app for Didi (or at least help him) this summer!! =D I'm kinda excited but scared, too. I don't want him disappointed that these very expensive 3 years at Rutgers has taught me nothing! So I'm gonna read up as much as I can in the next few days before I come home and have to start working. Hopefully this goes well :)

All good things must come to an end

Chelsea ends up as the Barclay's Premier League champions and, even though it hurts, I have to say they deserved it. Congratulations!

But we have had the most amazing 3.5 seasons (I say half because we were doing really well this season also but during the second half of the season, when we're supposed to rise up ahead of the rest, we kinda choked). This season ends with nothing but the Carling Cup. It's better than being trophy-less, I guess, but the CC is very close to being nothing. We did have some wonderful moments throughout the season, like beating Manchester City 3 times in the last seconds of the match. Liverpool finishing 7th, with Everton just a couple points short from taking the last EURO Cup away from them is a plus.

Junior year = DONE

Finished my last final (CS344) about an hour ago. And that is junior year! This semester I only took 14 credits, so it has been lighter than usual. My classes aren't too bad, either. Except for Money & Banking. It's just soooo boring! The prof is really nice tho. This is the last time he's teaching the class so he gives away extra credit for practically anything. Plus, he brought us Pocky twice! :)

Look at what's staring at me when I'm on my MacBook...

As if there was not enough distractions, I have Tony Stark staring at me---intently. I love Mr. Downey!!

Uh oh...

The fourth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean series might be in trouble. Not only did it lose two of its main characters, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley, it is now facing budget cuts that might compromise its quality.

Is there anyone out there who hasn’t watched The Shawshank Redemption, Donnie Darko or The Rocky Horror Picture Show? The following movies are our picks for the top ten new cult movies that are actually worth watching. 2010 PFA Players' Player of the Year

[Rooney next to Young Player of the Year winner, Aston Villa's James Milner]
CONGRATULATIONS WAYNE ROONEY!! He was also chosen as Football Writers' Association's Footballer of the Year award (FWA), the PFA Fans' Player of the Year award (FPY). This marks the fourth consecutive year that the award is won by a Manchester United player (Cristiano Ronaldo for 2 years and Ryan Giggs last year). Nice job, Wazza!

Manchester United also has the most players in this year's PFA Team of the Year, with 4 players:

Things to do during the summer:

[obviously I'm supposed to be doing something else right now--maybe study for finals or start doing my programming assignment that's due on MONDAY--but I decided to look for things to do during the summer instead]

  • Finish my movie_database project
  • Play around with Adobe AE for kinetic typography
  • Intern at Didi's place? Or at least come to his office a couple times to see what they do there.
