Longest tennis match EVER

While most players have played their 2nd round games, John Isner (USA) is finally able to go through the first round by beating Nicolas Mahut (FRA), in a match that was played over 3 days.

LONDON, June 24 (Reuters) - The world’s longest tennis match finally ended at Wimbledon on Thursday when John Isner claimed the incredible fifth set of a three-day epic against Nicolas Mahut 70-68 after 11 hours and five minutes on court.

iPhone 4 release

It happens every year. And it certainly doesn't fade away, it just gets stronger. I just read about all the people waiting in line for hours and hours (even spent the night at the sidewalk) just to be one of the first few thousands buying the iPhone 4.

I read the report by Engadget. These guys are insane! Even though, I admit, it would be cool to be able to get it on the first day AND meet Steve Wozniak!

Behind the Scenes: Iron Man

Someone posted this vids recently on YouTube, hope they won't be taken down too soon:

Toy Story 3

I've been excited about this movie for quite some time now because it's Disney Pixar and it's Toy Story!! I'm always excited about Disney Pixar's movie every summer. They only have one a year but they sure know how to make animated movies. All 11 Disney Pixar movies opens at the #1 spot on the weekend box-office. The first Toy Story came out in 1995 and completely changed the world of full-CGI animated movies! But it's not all about animation, the story was amazing as well. The sequel, Toy Story 2, was as critically acclaimed as the first one and was as successful in the box-office.

Toy Story 3 picks up years after the first two movies. Andy, the toys' owner, is all grown up and is leaving for college. Obviously, he's not going to bring all of his (used to be) favorite toys with him. And once again, the toys are very worried about their future.

Some interesting "easter egg" stuff from the movie:

It hasn't quite started yet but we already have a couple episodes of Burn Notice and White Collar. Haven't really downloaded them yet but here's what I'm excited about:

2010 WWDC

The event was held at 10 a.m. PST on Monday morning. The only thing that is important is, obviously, Steve Jobs' keynote presentation. This is where Apple publicly announces their latest gadgets or technology breakthroughs. Of course, everyone was just waiting for the new iPhone to be announced.

Les Grossman

Everybody is saying how Tom Cruise is starting to redeem himself and it certainly is working for me. He "reprised" his Tropic Thunder character Les Grossman for this year's MTV Movie Awards.

I am getting a special treatment since it's Didi, but this is awesome:
[Where I'm gonna be working at this summer]
I'm getting a new MacBook and an iPhone 3G for my first internship! Well they're not really mine to take but they're mine for the next couple months.

Soccer Aid 2010

The third Soccer Aid was held yesterday at Old Trafford. England has won the previous two matches. I just got excited because one it's Old Trafford, and second Ryan Giggs was supposed to start alongside Zinedine Zidane. I didn't get to watch the match, obviously, but I'm still hoping to be able to watch some highlights.

The 25 Greatest Timbaland Songs Of All Time

Lance Bass with the Backstreet Boys

what?!

It was actually funny. I really miss *NSYNC and the late 90s where they and the BSB were the biggest things on earth! Their rivalry was hilarious!

Iron Man researching The Avengers

[Iron Man and Avengers in hand]
Robert Downey, Jr. was seen in a comic book store, buying up quite a few Iron Man and The Avengers comic books. And I thought he was going to shoot the sequel to Sherlock Holmes now. I guess it's never too early to start doing research, especially in such a big, ambitious, highly anticipated movie like The Avengers. I can't wait to see more Tony Stark! Haven't gotten over Iron Man 2 just yet, and these kind of stuff with Downey might be the best advertising strategy for the movie.
