Mr. Sunshine: Matthew Perry Tackles Most Awkward Question Ever About Friends
Turns out Matthew Perry knows a thing or two about handling the press—even when asked a pretty cringe-worthy question regarding one of his former Friends costars.Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images
The artist formerly known as Chandler Bing faced a roomful of TV critics today to promote his new ABC comedy Mr. Sunshine—and killed it. But things got a little awwwkward during the panel Q&A, with this question from a newspaper critic:

I <3 Matty
Watched a couple of movies in the last two days.
The first movie was some random movie that Om Robert was watching. It was an okay movie but I just don't like the way it was shot. And the story wasn't that good...
After that we watched 17 Again. It's Matthew Perry but I wasn't gonna watch it cos I know it's mostly Zac Efron. But I'm glad I watched it because the few minutes Matty was on he was so freaking cute!! And during the credits we got to see a picture of young Matty which looked adorable!! (man I miss S60 and F.R.I.E.N.D.S)
Then I watched Fast and Furious. The audio quality of the DVD wasn't that good but the movie was still pretty cool. AND PAUL WALKER IS SO HOT!! I really wanna watch the first movies again now! I haven't watched Tokyo Drift but apparently it's the continuation of this fourth one (is it??). I'm gonna watch it when I get home cos I have the DVD at home (since last year) but haven't watched it. Love all the cool cars that they showed. And I LOOOVE it when Brian was told to go to the race and how excited he was when he was shown the cars that he could pick from. I am currently obsessed with watching Paul videos on YouTube... He's funny!
Last movie I watched was Star Trek today. It was pretty cool, and I really like Sylar (forgot his real name). I've never watched Star Trek before so I had no idea what it was about. I get it a little bit. It was a cool movie...
Hope I could watch some other good movies these next few days...

I'm not the only one who thinks S60 is good!
Taken from Yahoo!
Studio 60 was way to good to be canceled after only one season. Ah, I'm gonna get upset about this again.
Call us petty, but we still hold a grudge against networks for axing so many amazing programs over the past eight years. Thanks to DVD, some of these underappreciated shows have found a second life, though many of them have continued to be neglected by their studios thanks to a seemingly indifferent public -- or just a lack of enough produced episodes to warrant the boxed-set treatment. They may be gone, but as far as we're concerned, they're not forgotten. In alphabetical order, here are the post-millennial dramas that should've lasted longer.
Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
(September 2006 - June 2007)
When two competing networks simultaneously rolled out two shows that took a behind-the-scenes look at the making of a live sketch comedy show (like "Saturday Night Live") it was only a matter of time before one of them flopped. And "Studio 60" did just that when pitted against the wickedly funny "30 Rock." Too bad that "Studio 60" never really had time to find its footing, because Matthew Perry and Bradley Whitford were a dynamic duo together, even when working with the most implausible and bizarre storylines to come out of Aaron Sorkin's twisted genius mind.

ah...

After obsessing about Studio 60 and why such a good show was canceled after only 1 season, I decided to watch The Whole Nine Yards and The Whole Ten Yards movies. Thought it would make me feel better after NBC prevented me from having Matty on a good show every week. And those movies did their job! Matty was so freaking funny (well the movies were just hilarious) and I just love him! He's soooo adorable...
I also watched interviews of him with Bruce Willis promoting the movie on YouTube, and those two are so funny! Matty makes everything better. It's freezing outside and I haven't had a decent meal since 22 hours ago but I'm still happy =)
Been doing my CS112 HW since Friday night and I finally got it done last night.. or I think I got it done.. so TWTY last night was my reward lol

Bring S60 back!!

It's a smart show, which is actually why not that many people watch it. It was on after Heroes. Wrong time slot NBC! The viewers for those shows are very different. S60 was actually the most digitally recorded show so the ratings were actually better than reported. It wasn't a failure; NBC failed it. It might suit better on HBO but any network that's up to the challenge should bring it back! [sign petition(s) below]
Oh and anyways

Also, I developed a huge crush on Matty's co-star Bradley Whitford. As Danny Tripp, he has a great chemistry with Matty. After watching interviews of him on YouTube you can see his funny side. He's very goofy, though I thought he would be a serious guy (cos he was on The West Wing and he definitely didn't have any goofy side there). Especially his Emmy win, his speech was hands down the best acceptance speech ever.
Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
I watched the whole season of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip again during Thanksgiving break and I think this show was awesome! Still don't understand why NBC would cancel it when it was actually doing well both against the critics, ratings and viewers (great demographic too). In fact, it was doing better than other NBC shows like 30 Rock and Friday Night Lights [see video below for details] but those two got picked up for a second season while S60 didn't.
The great Aaron Sorkin wrote - and created - the show. And the whole show just show what a genius he is. The language that he uses is just amazing. Just love all the dialogues, and the humor that he put in. There are a lot of inside jokes that I didn't understand the first time I watched the show so watching it the second time was actually better. I always thought that I don't like anything with too much dialogue in it but this show proved me wrong. The casting was great, too. Matthew Perry, Bradley Whitford, Amanda Peet, and everyone else had great chemistry.
The story itself was a little bit autobiographical to Sorkin's life. He based the main character, Matthew Albie, on himself and a little bit of Matthew Perry. Albie's relationship with Harriet Hayes was also a portrayal of Sorkin's relationship with Kristin Chenoweth. Studio 60 shows the behind-the-scene of a comedy sketch show, kinda like Saturday Night Live. It's an intense drama with the type of humor that I really enjoyed. Some people said that the show was actually canceled because it's "too smart" - shows how dumb the viewers are, really.
Great video explaining how stupid NBC was for canceling the show!! [kudos to whoever owns the vid]
I know it's pathetic but I still have a little hope that NBC - or any other network for that matter - would come to their senses and pick up the show again. I just miss seeing Matty on a weekly basis in a good show.

MP

I love the fact that he's funny. Who doesn't love Chandler's sarcasm?? And that voice he uses when he talks to girls, it's just... aaaah!! :) Yep, I'm going crazy here...
