Manchester United 1-0 Bolton Wanderers

[Dimitar Berbatov]

Didn't watch the game but from what I've read, it was another one of those play average, steal 3 points games. Sir Alex Ferguson 5-game touchline ban started so he was high up at the stands. Javier Hernandez was picked ahead of Dimitar Berbatov again, 5th time out of 6 games. I'm a little bit worried; a player like Berbatov wouldn't like just sitting on the bench; so when the lineup was posted I really really hoped that he'd get a decent playing time. And he did. He came in for Chicharito at half time (along with Fabio for Wes Brown) and ended up scoring the only goal. Massive win for us, especially with Arsenal drawing 2-2 at West Brom (after being 2 down). Not just the points, but after knocking Arsenal out of the FA Cup, this win is a huge morale boost for our team, while theirs might be drained.

[Berba scoring the goal at the 87th minute]

United were playing with 10 men for the last 20 minutes or so after Jonny Evans got a straight red for a high, two-footed tackle. Couldn't blame him for going in for the tackle because the ball was 50-50, but the fact that he left the ground and went it with both feet wasn't the best decision. He didn't have his best game either, I heard.
