Liverpool 2-0 Manchester United

Terrible, terrible day... But I am glad that Sir Alex Ferguson accepts that his team just didn't do enough to avoid the loss.
Sir Alex left Anfield frustrated by refereeing decisions but admitted Liverpool deserved all three points on Sunday.

“It was a disappointing performance and Liverpool were better,” the boss told MUTV.

“We never got any luck in terms of refereeing decisions, but we have to hold our hands up: we weren’t good enough.”

It's the third time in a row that we lost to L'Pool in the league. And in all three, Nemanja Vidic was sent off at some point in the match. We better win it at Old Trafford later this season!

Michael Owen made his return to Anfield, as a United player. As expected, Pool's fans weren't happy about it. Mickey was supposed to be through on goal when Pool's captain, Carragher, brought him down from behind. Should have been a red, but the ref went easy on him with only a booking. One of the many decisions that went their way throughout the match.

Isn't it perfect that this has to be my 500th post?!
