2009/10 Fixtures

Champions face new boys first
The champions kick off the 2009/10 Barclays Premier League title defence by facing two newly-promoted teams in the first two games.

Birmingham City visit Old Trafford on the season's opening weekend, before a trip to fellow North West side Burnley in midweek.

The Reds then travel to Wigan, before a tough run of games with home matches against Arsenal and Manchester City either side of a visit to White Hart Lane to take on Harry Redknapp's Tottenham.

I just can't wait for the season to start... I know Ronaldo might be leaving and we might not be able to keep Tevez, but I do believe that we still have a strong team and we have enough quality to fight for our fourth consecutive title. Also get our Champions League trophy back. Last year's loss was very unfortunate. With the team we had we could have done so much better. Barcelona didn't look stronger than our team, but we just didn't show up that night in Rome.
