The Roo-Ron partnership is back! =DThe boys are finally back on winning ways! Beating Bolton 2-0 at home was kinda fun. It was pretty frustrating watching the match cos at half time, possession was 81%-29% to United, and it was still 0-0. We just couldn't score! Too many chances, and their goalie is too good...
The first goal was controversial. Ronaldo went down in the box and the ref gave a penalty. No, he didn't dive. But it wasn't a foul either. The defender got the ball. It's not like we asked for the penalty. The ref blew his whistle right away. He wasn't hesitating or anything.
Ron, of course, converted the penalty. The celebration wasn't too much, for a penalty we didn't deserve. The second goal was great though. If I'm not mistaken it was a quick counter attack. Rooney passing the ball forward to Ronaldo, but Ron couldn't get inside. Backheeled the ball back to Roo, who controls the ball, and shoots. Great shot, no chance for goalie. 2-0.. It was one of those matches where we could have scored 10 goals. We just couldn't find the final touch.
Well a win is a win, hoping for a better one next time...
