Gurl.com interviews The Social Network

Why I love: they're so swooning over Justin! So here's Justin's parts:
It's been two days and we're still on a high from interviewing the dudes from The Social Network. Maybe it's because we were so nervous to interview JT and his hot co-stars Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield and Armie Hammer that we still can't really believe we survived the whole ordeal without fainting, but our survival through the depths of hunk-dom can probably be owed to our realization that these famous dudes are actually, shockingly, geeky. Just like us gURLs.

Don't believe us? Just wait until you hear how Jesse geeked out to play Facebook's creator, Mark Zuckerberg, what Andrew did to try to impress a gURL, and why Justin thinks "geek is the new cool."

What's the craziest thing you've done to get someone's attention, whether a gURL or...
Andrew: Yeah, we do silly things for women. I've climbed walls up to windows and I've broken down doors. Not in an aggressive like, stalkerish way, not in an illegal way -- well, it may have been illegal -- but it was romantic at the time.
Jesse: I plastered posters all over the subway with my face on it to advertise the movie.

Justin, what's the craziest thing a fan has done to get your attention?
Justin: There've been some crazy things. Things that I probably shouldn't say. I actually was in Europe one time and I showed up to a hotel and there were some kids that were hiding in the closet that had figured out some way to get into the room that I was going to be staying in. So that wasn't scary. At all. And they were not escorted immediately out of the hotel...they were. (he winks with sarcasm dripping off his hot body). (we melt).

Mark Zuckerberg is like, the ultimate geek, and now he's a billionaire (and according to the movie's tagline a punk, too). What kind of advice can you give us geeky gURLs on becoming punk, billionaire geniuses?
Jesse: (Laughs) Giving advice on making it? That would be the blind leading the blind. If I were to give advice, I'm sure it would ruin whoever I gave the advice to.
Andrew: This is the time. I think it's important to say that we're all geeky in some way. But this is the nerd revolution. This is the technological revolution where brains and ambition and that kinda stuff are what's defining our generation.
Armie: It's funny. I think introverts get hassled a little bit more than they need to be. I think that if you are an introvert and you are loner and you're comfortable like that, that's fine. Maybe that's just the way you function.
Justin: I think we're all geeks in some way -- or were -- or still are. I think instinct is a powerful thing, and I think if you trust yourself enough to trust your instinct then that can be a great thing. I would hope with this movie that geek is the new cool.

Speaking of 'cool', Justin, you have this line in the movie where you say "A million dollars isn't cool. You know what's cool? A billion dollars." What's cool according to Justin Timberlake?
Justin: By the time this movie comes out it won't be cool anymore, I fear. The world is moving so fast these days. I have no idea what's cool. What do you think is cool?
gURL: Well, I think you're pretty cool.
Justin: I'm cool? Man. Hang out with me a little bit. It's all a façade.
gURL: Uhhh, drooooooooool. Uhhh, yea, JT, let's be friends, ajkghshtgljge. (fainting)

So the soundtrack to this movie is amazing...
Justin: It's fantastic. The score, I just can't say enough about it, about (the producers') Trent Reznor and Atticus Rose's score. They're brilliant. I'm literally in awe of them.

What's the number one song you'd put on the soundtrack to your teen years?
Justin: Oh, I don't know. Maybe "Knockin' Da Bootz." [by H-Town.] There was someone in here earlier from Houston and he didn't know who H-Town was. You look too young to know...how old are you?
gURL: Uh, 23...
Justin: Yeah, see all these kids are too young to know who these people are so it doesn't matter who I name. You're not gonna know who they are.
gURL: Ok, well mine would be an *NSYNC song, sooo...
Justin: Really?
gURL: Yeah, obviously.
Justin: Well, I don't know what to say about that. (laughs).
