Van Der Sar to retire

United's number 1 Edwin van der Sar has announced that he will retire at the end of this season, after 6 years being the choice goalkeeper of The Red Devils.

"At the moment I am quite happy with my form and my achievements on the pitch. I just want to [leave] that on a high level. You can’t play Superman into your 40s."

I, like many others, believe that VDS still has a few years in him. He's the best goalkeeper for our team. But it is his decision to make and he knows that it's what's best for him. So thank you, Edwin, for the amazing 6 years. Hope this season ends with trophies!
